So I have to rant a little before this ones over. I have had a great group of guys as alliance mates. During the course of this one we were called cheats or that we had an unfair advantage. Someone even thought that I was Hal (the cheater). All of us played very hard and put in the hours. With no advantage. We were ganged and did benefit from a mistake made by an enemy. Overall this group played a great one.
Now on to the cheater part. This is my take on admins having an advantage. I think it is kind of silly to think that a group of players that loved this game enough to put up money and hours to keep it going would do it just to give themselves a chance to cheat at it to win. I know that's a very poor bussiness model. Afterall this is a bussiness for the people who bought it. I want to thank the people who keep this game going. Not only going but FREE.

Thank you all

In the left corner, Employee of the Month, with faithful warper sidekick BeefCake, cleverly aided by famous Indian tracker OneShot, a tough hard bitten Taurian, are out to show the galaxy how the galaxy was won.

Thargor, having a toothache, chooses to sit this one out.  "When will dental technology catch up with space ship technology", the suffing Zeeb leader Thargor, thinks.

And in the right corner, the remaining empires gather their forces together to seriously pose a threat to the Judges remaining tripartite alliance members.  This is a battle for last place, or first place, perhaps just a battle with no wish to gain any benefit or otherwise ...

Members of Internet Spaceships Serious Business who are out for blood, salvage and bragging rights are the really quite remarkably honourable toag (who who would have thought they could be so respectful) Battillon of AWAC Empire, a powerful sinerf called Claudius Maximus, a very romantic name for an unromantic species, returning back from the grave is an old and respected player, Katrina of Leonthas in her favoured red/purple coats of Oomari & Ermine, plus a very redoubtable player of galaxies, Wire Fence of Stretcher - occupying the shell of a villianous Toag but secretly is a member of the most untrustworthy of secret guilds, the Dark Brotherhood.

We wait, the audience waits, the Author waits, even EE Doc Smith has returned from the dead to wait, to see what carnage and shattering battles will take place in this galaxy in the near future ...

and yeah .. could someone post the battle reports?

hmm - that's a bugger.

So it was a mixed SOTL fleet vs the Judges CAPS fleet ... and there was a tonnage advantage to our size.  Its must be kinda hard to guess what would be a balanced end-game fleet battle eh.

I didn't think I had that much extra going in.
2 ticks later I retreated around half of the ships I had there but the damage was done.

It was a very interesting gal. Thanks to my alliance for being very easy to work with. We did a fantastic job.

Well, now the gal is done and over, and written into the pages of history.

Started this gal as a race I have not played in years. Due to luck, and being off the first 48 hrs of the gal allowed me to move to the top of the leaders board. I was able to to expand quickly. Then out of no where, an allaince I had sent a nap offer to, starts to take my planets, and ask if I am friend or foe. This move forced to go from econ to ship tech over night. This 3 man allaince had been building ships from the start. Diplomacy failed when i asked why you building ships and taking planets so early in the game, the response was, this is a war game right? So with that I dropped from the boards. Was able to find anallaince to join, and then beatt he snot out those guys. Our allaince had an oomari that was cought running multi accnts, and when we found an ommari to replace him with we did. Along the way a new turian, who I belive was able to survive the gal. We then went on a massive eating frenzy. We were allways watching the Allaince board, wondering who was going to be next, who was going to lose a fleet, who was going to be food. Then came DE and Countys war. I was out voted by my allaince mates to attack county. We pushed into county takeing many systems. Finally our fleets and thiers meet. We ere beat, and my force of over 600 shups was reduced to 98 escorts limping back to safety. We were given a chance to nap, I fought with my allaince mates to take this nap. But alast I was out voted again. Then came the 2nd great battle with County Judge. Not a single one of my ships made it out, and my officer choose to die with his fleet. You will be missed SpongeBob. Then came the long sielnce from my allaince mates, and then a delete from one. And then the other leaveing the allaince and the gal. With my systems disappering faster and faster, there was now only on way foward to see that I and the few remaining people that were with in our allaince made it to the end of the gal. I seeked to foster a desire for more great battle. With this idea in tow, County Judge agreed, the last allainces reformed. We took to the battle ground with vengance, but alast it was to no avil. We went out swinging. And thats the best we could have hoped for.
