Ok, ok, guys, just let's not be so stuffy and touchy, that's not looking pretty, you know.

You didn't catch us the second time, we did. And our battle was pretty even until I made some stupid order mistakes and Jason joined in with his swarm. And even then two of your allies lost their fleets.

This is despite the fact that we were being eaten by three alliances at the time, i.e. dwindling resource base and planet number to build on.

That's pretty much sums it up.

I'll return for sure some time in the future, even if noone cares:) GB is just a part of the game, go join/form some guild and fight against it if you don't like it. I'm just sorry that some really good guys i met here drop the game due to unnecessary drama and stupid insults.

P.S. Jason, does this count as talking 'smack'?

Yes, you were targetting sotl almost the whole time, even when you got more and more debris shots. That's why our sotl went down but the rest wasn't even scratched.

About the catch, ok, I wasn't online then. I only knew I sent our fleet to that planet when I went offline. And since you were running away the whole time before and our fleet was stronger I assumed we had catched you there. Sorry.

Maybe it is a gb from your perspective, but it is not an organized one. People simply checked the leaderboards and see which fleet went down and which did not. If you ask me, I'd be happier if we could proceed eating you alone. We didn't get that many greys so we need that. Wink

Looks like we're done. Our Kreel took leadership and accepted a NAP during a battle with White Wind and then left and deleted.

Thank you I like of Pizza.

And I was so stupid to give him 20000 resources today so he could rebuild his paper sotl fleet which was pulverized by White Wind earlier. I had a feeling he can't be trusted way earlier, Jason can tell. Now I know for sure.

Guys, don't worry that much. Actually I thought accepting the NAP was  your strategic move to save your feeble LBSs from our mighty corvettes.. Just kidding;)

You'll just come back in 10 hours and smash through whatever we have there or can build with some 15 planet eco :S

Some good things about this all is that I've tried and learned few things, will have a good nights sleep tonight and our kreel is the last kreel in the galaxy Smiley Thank you!

I'm not really mad about losing 8 ticks. It's not like we're fighting for the red here with that small amout of greys we got and the lack of activity. It's more about how someone chooses to screw up the game for his allies. He could have simply left. But he chose to accept the NAP and damage us on purpose.

From his last message we know he had a problem with my decision to not send his paper fleet to the battle immediately but 1 tick later with a pit stop on 054 were we had 2 LBS incoming. After his fleet was pulverized earlier I just wanted to save his ships so he can grow. My shields can take a beating and Jasons fleet was near as well.

Yup, I think that qualifies as smack talk, and is very good.  I do owe you respect for hanging in there.  As I said before, had Barber not deleted out, you very well could have taken us.  As for GB references, I have to admit, you guys were getting smeared by either those who were joining in in retribution after Barber  said that GangBangs were *always* OK (and you seem to echo here a little bit -- Although I will grant that two smaller alliances taking on a larger one is not wrong in my book, even though some would still call that a gang-bang) or those just opportunistically bottom feeding, knowing you were engaged fully elsewhere...

As for saying he can't be trusted, I would say that is going too far.  As for saying we had reservations, that is correct.  The only real fault I can say about I like of Pizza was that he was not very communicative.  Had he said, "Send my fleets in always, no matter what" I would have honored that, despite the fact that I may have thought he was too much at risk of losing it all again.  Given the situation, had I been acting as General instead of Temp at the time, I am likely to have done the exact same thing.

That being said, I can understand his frustration.  With almost exclusively SoTL fleets, both he and MAVO were hammered badly.  MAVO stuck in there.  He did not.  Neither of them were capturing planets much at all, and because he was not online and we were pushing to not be completely cut off, he was not given as many planets as MAVO was.  That does not mean I condone his actions in the end.  That was just purely outrageous.  I have much more respect for WhiteWind hanging in no matter what than I do for that kind of parting shot...

;'{P~~~

PS, In part that fault is my own, because as leader, my primary job is to hold the alliance together, no matter how touchy someone may be about the way things are going down.

LOL,

Well, SteveO.  That sounds similar to the warning I gave earlier, that WhiteWind ignored to their chagrin.  Do you think anyone is really listening?

Well...

There are a few bigger than us, so why then, pray tell, is the NAP coming down on us, dear sir?  Is this one of your alliance mates going rogue again in taking over and directing the alliance while you are away?  I understand completely -- I have suffered that as well this time around, and have had that problem in the past...

I do understand that Summ is a good friend of yours, and you might even be scared of him a little more than me (and justifiably so at this point, I might add) but lets speak truthfully and upfront.  You have a very good chance to take us.  Against Summ, you'd suffer at least a major setback -- possibly enough to the point where we may actually become a viable challenge again.  You could even lose -- I really don't know who's kung foo is better between the two of you...
